About 30 years ago, Grant started as an iron-workers laborer. He promised someday he would be a notable figure in the construction industry. A humbling beginning from digging ditches by day to educating himself each night. Grant's reputation for exceptional work in this industry offered all the opportunities ever needed to excel. He gained his diverse work experience through two TOP 50 ENR contractors, the Country’s largest Luxury Retail contractors and several international General Contractors abroad. He's managed commercial, restaurant, retail commercial, mid-rise, and institutional projects ranging from $1.5-$37 million each. Since the 2008 recession and corporate downsizing, his frustration for employment and unscrupulous practices of other builders afforded him a unique opportunity. Thus, creating BCM Morring Company, Inc. This new formation has given him the ability to be resilient in an ever evolving, fast paced industry. The desire to prove client commitment, project responsibility, and honesty is still a reality in this industry. Grant desires to build better, safer, and morally accountable relationships are apparent in every project and relationship today.

My Testimony of being raised in a single-family home by my father came with challenges. When he tragically died my last year of High School it was devastating. Without any real choices I had to begin paying rent and become employed full time or stay in High School and wonder how to survive in my already unpredictable future. I chose full time employment, followed by many years of bad choices, coupled with some very real challenges as a young man.

Throughout the next 35 years I was blessed to work alongside people who mentored and poured into me with an unmatched work ethic. During that time my character was highly impacted by the United States Navy and the Gulf War. These converging characteristics to “set the bar higher” and “never settle for mediocrity” are evident through the way we build, nurture relationships, and treat our people. Relationships, gratitude and giving is my mantra.

BCM Morring Company, Inc is founded on Christian principles, hard work and lifelong experience. I have been blessed with a tremendously talented staff, highly qualified craftsman, and most of all a beautiful wife and four children.

The undeserved grace is overwhelming most days. Anyone who knows me personally or our business is aware I am truly grateful for my journey that has formed the man, the father I am today, and the business I have the privilege of directing. The construction experience is truly one of a kind at BCM and I personally invite you to give us the opportunity to prove so.

Brian Wittendorfer, is a Senior Project Manager for BCM Morring Company, Inc. Mr. Wittendorfer graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Building Science and has 13 years of experience in the construction industry. He has successfully managed and completed projects in the educational, healthcare, government, retail, and restaurant industry ranging from $1-10 million each. Mr. Wittendorfer holds a State of Alabama Home Builders License and OSHA 30 Certification.

Blending his unique experiences in Operational Management and Process Development and Improvement, Jonathan Avery provides BCM Morring with Strategic Leadership for the business and finance functions while managing their finances and assets. Jonathan’s collaborative approach to leading allows for greater support and positive transformation through continuous improvement efforts and relationship building.

Jonathan has more than a decade of experience in leading and managing complex operations, organizational development, and process improvement initiatives. Prior to joining BCM Morring, Jonathan served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 20 years, gaining priceless experience in multiple non-traditional roles that were part of what molded him to become who he is today.

Education:
Jonathan received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Quality Systems Management from The National Graduate School of Quality Management and is currently pursuing his MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from Liberty University.
